Mercury Topaz (second generation)

Automobiles

For 1988 the Tempo and Topaz sedans were redesigned while the coupes were facelifted, each more closely resembling their Taurus and Sable counterparts, and both arrived in November 1987. The all wheel drive models were discontinued after 1990 and a 3.0 liter Vulcan V6 became an option for 1992. The Topaz was replaced for 1995 by the Mystique, developed from the Mondeo. Its model years run from 1988 to 1994.
