Automobiles

A 400 cubic inch V8 became standard for 1976 and 1977 in the Marquis, the line in which the Grand Marquis was the flagship. The 460 cubic inch V8 was optional. The Grand Marquis was a sub model of the full size Marquis, sold with the Marquis Brougham, and had been introduced as an interior trim package in 1974. The Colony Park was the full size station wagon of the Mercury range. It was a rear wheel drive V8 sedan, built by Ford for Mercury.
