Mercury Bobcat (single generation)

Automobiles

Lincoln Mercury dealers introduced a rebadged variant of the Pinto as the Mercury Bobcat for model year 1974, beginning with the Canadian market. Offered in the same body styles as the Pinto, the Bobcat was distinguished by an egg crate grille and chrome headlamp bezels. For 1975 it was added to the United States market. For 1979 it received a major restyling shared with the Pinto. Its model years run from 1974 to 1980.
