2007 Mazda MX-5 Miata

Automobiles

The 800,000th MX-5 was built in January 2007, within two years of the launch of the third generation. The NC car kept the Power Retractable Hard Top as a variant, was on the Car and Driver 10Best list again in 2007, and was built at the Hiroshima plant. It remained the lightweight roadster described as a successor to the 1950s and 1960s Italian and British roadsters. A longitudinal truss called the Powerplant Frame joins the engine to the differential.
