2006 Mazda MX-5 Miata

Automobiles

In 2006 the NC MX-5 was in its first full year, with the roadster and the Power Retractable Hard Top offering a folding roof that does not encroach on trunk space. It was a finalist for the 2006 World Car of the Year, and started an unbroken run on the Car and Driver 10Best list that lasted from 2006 to 2013. The car kept the lightweight two seat formula of the earlier generations. The car kept a curb weight close to the 1,100 kilogram mark of earlier generations.
