The Carol of 2012 was in its third year as the sixth generation, a rebadged Suzuki Alto made by Suzuki for Mazda, with all wheel drive and CVT available. The first revival of the name had come in 1989 with the Autozam brand, and since late 1998 the Carol had simply carried a Mazda badge on a car otherwise the same as the Alto. The Carol is a rebadged model manufactured by Suzuki for Mazda. The Carol is available with AWD and CVT.
