1975 Mazda 626

Automobiles

The Capella in 1975 was in the facelift form introduced in February 1974, a rear wheel drive intermediate model sold as sedan and coupe in Japan and exported as the Mazda 616 and the rotary engined RX-2 in some markets. It was powered by four cylinder SOHC engines of 1.5 or 1.6 liters producing 92 or 100 PS, and was one of Mazda's most successful early exports, as Mazda's expansion continued. The Capella sat between the smaller Familia and the larger Luce in Mazda's range.
