The Toyota 2000GT is a Japanese sports car produced in very limited numbers from 1967 to 1970, developed in collaboration with Yamaha and widely regarded as the car that proved Japanese manufacturers could build a genuine world-class grand tourer. It gained international visibility through a specially built convertible version featured in the 1967 James Bond film "You Only Live Twice," and surviving examples are now among the most valuable Japanese collector cars.
