The Statesman was Holden's long wheelbase luxury sedan, first sold from 1971 to 1984 under a separate Statesman marque and then, after a six year gap, as a Holden from 1990 until 2010 below the Caprice, a longer version of the Commodore and the largest rear drive sedan General Motors offered, rebadged abroad as the Daewoo Statesman and the Buick Royaum. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 4 generations: the HQ to WB series, 1971 to 1984 (1971 to 1984); the first generation, VQ to VS, 1990 to 1999 (1990 to 1999); the second generation, WH to WL, 1999 to 2006 (1999 to 2006); the third generation, WM and WN, 2006 to 2010 (2006 to 2010).
