The fourth generation 2018 Lincoln Navigator was introduced on 12 April 2017 at the New York show, marking a significant shift in exterior styling to features of the 2017 Lincoln Continental, with an aluminum body on a steel frame engineered alongside the 2015 Ford F-150. Dashboard buttons and paddle shifters replaced a console shifter. The Navigator Max succeeded the L, and a refresh unveiled in August 2021 came for 2022. Its model years run from 2018 to 2024.
