The 2020 Navigator was in the third year of its fourth generation, a body on frame full size luxury SUV engineered with the Ford Expedition alongside the 2015 F-150, with an aluminum body and Premiere, Select and Reserve trims. It had a dashboard shared with the Continental, with buttons and paddle shifters in place of a console shifter, as Mercury's Multi Drive of 1957 and 1958 had done. It was a full size luxury SUV built at the Kentucky Truck Plant in Louisville, Kentucky.
