2024 was the last model year of the fourth generation Navigator, whose successor was revealed on 15 August 2024. The refreshed Navigator and Navigator Max continued to be a full size luxury SUV based on the Ford Expedition, with the Navigator the first full size luxury SUV. Production was at the Kentucky Truck Plant in Louisville, Kentucky, where it had been built alongside the Expedition since 2009. Its styling followed the 2017 Lincoln Continental.
