The 1960 Continental Mark V saw further changes to the exterior, with more substantial bumpers replacing the aviation influenced designs and the Dagmars returning, and a new eggcrate grille. Despite the closing of the division, the Continental badge stayed on the front fenders, with Mark V moved to the rear quarter panels. Inside, the instrument panel moved from a large half circle speedometer to four circular gauges, and the parking brake was released by a pushbutton.
