1959 Lincoln Continental

Automobiles

The Continental Mark IV of 1959 saw a minor restyling intended to tone down the car's appearance: the front bumpers lost their Dagmars, the side sculpting was smoothed out, and the headlamp clusters were restyled as part of the grille. The badging added Mark IV in block letters to the lower front fenders. The limited production Town Car and Limousine were introduced as flagship models, and Ford cancelled the Continental division outright.
