A limited Coach Edition LS 400 was produced for 1997 in partnership with the American leather maker Coach. In August 1997 the Celsior, available in Japan only, became the first Toyota with laser adaptive cruise control, and production of the UCF20 ended in July 1997 ahead of the revised car. It was model year 3 of 6 in the Lexus LS (second generation, XF20), 1995 to 2000, coming after the 1996 model year and before the 1998 model year.
