1954 Hudson Wasp

Automobiles

Hudson reskinned its large cars for 1954, giving the Wasp the squarer linear body, a simpler grille, a working hood scoop and a one piece curved windshield, although the unit body made the change very costly. The Wasp was sold as a two door coupe or sedan and as a four door sedan, with the Super Wasp adding the hardtop and convertible. Hudson merged with Nash Kelvinator on May 1, 1954, and Wasp production for the year was 11,603 cars.
