Holden Commodore (second generation, 1988 to 1997)

Automobiles

The VN Commodore of 1988 and the subsequent second generation models took their bodywork from the larger Opel Senator B and the new Opel Omega A. The floor plan was widened and stretched, now matching the rival Ford Falcon for size. The Australian production of the Commodore was consolidated at Elizabeth in 1988. The Toyota Lexcen was a rebadged second generation Commodore sold from 1989 to 1997. Its model years run from 1988 to 1997.
