1985 Holden Barina

Automobiles

The first generation MB Barina was launched on 12 February 1985 as a badge engineered Suzuki Cultus in five door hatchback form. In the first year of production a Roadrunner Pack special model was offered with decals showing the Warner Brothers cartoon character, and a high profile marketing campaign accompanied the launch. In New Zealand it was assembled by GMNZ. The 1985 Barina was the first model year in Australia, a Suzuki derived car sold with a Roadrunner pack.
