Toyota Etios

Automobiles

The Toyota Etios is a subcompact car range of a four door saloon and a five door hatchback that Toyota produced from 2010 to 2023. The saloon was launched in December 2010 and the hatchback, with the Liva and Valco suffixes in India and Indonesia, followed in June 2011. It was built on the EFC platform, a low cost platform derived from the NBC platform, and aimed at rivals such as the Dacia and Renault Logan, centered on India and Brazil as the manufacturing base. The name comes from the Greek word ethos, meaning spirit, character and ideals. Generations with their own pages on this site: the single generation (2010 to 2023).
