Automobiles

Ford France, under its new president François Lehideux, refreshed the Vedette for 1950, with improvements to the car that had been criticised for its early quality. The Vedette was a large Ford built in France, designed in Detroit and fitted with a small V8 engine. Ford SAF built it at Poissy, and it was the only French car of its time with a V8.
