In August 2023 the fourth generation Ford Transit was introduced to the Chinese market for the first time by JMC Ford, as the Transit T8. The Transit continued in North America with the 3.5 liter EcoBoost V6, the 3.7 liter V6 and the E-Transit electric version, all built at Kansas City Assembly, and in Europe the van was produced by Ford Otosan in Turkey. The Transit family also included the smaller Connect, Custom and Courier vans.
