Starting from May 2017 Jiangling Motors replaced the license built Ford Transit with its own JMC Teshun range of vans, ending the Chinese licensed line that had begun in 1997. In North America the 2017 Transit was the third year of the fourth generation, with the 3.7 liter V6 and EcoBoost engines mated to the six speed automatic, built at Kansas City Assembly. JMC had made 70 major updates to the Ford design over its life.
