1976 Ford Taunus

Automobiles

The Taunus and the Cortina Mk IV of 1976 were in most cases almost identical, apart from regional variations. The second Taunus TC, the TC2, was built from 1976 to 1979, with only trim levels and specifications differing from the Cortina sold in Britain. The Taunus was the family car of Ford Germany, sold under the 12M, 15M, 17M, 20M and 26M names over several generations. It was named after the Taunus mountain range in Germany and was often a close relative of a British Ford.
