The second generation Super Duty arrived for the 2008 model year with a redesign of the Super Duty, a new look and a new 6.4 litre Power Stroke diesel. The F 450 pickups of 2008 to 2010 used Dana S 110 rear axles, and the Super Duty came in a wide range of cab and bed choices. The Super Duty is a dedicated heavy duty variant of the F Series, sold above the F 150 with Power Stroke diesel engines as an option. Ford assembles the trucks at the Kentucky Truck Plant in Louisville and at Ohio Assembly in Avon Lake.
