2006 Ford Super Duty

Automobiles

Because of problems with head bolts, Navistar redesigned its diesel engine for the Super Duty with reinforced heads, more torque and more power, bringing out the new design in 2005 and 2006. The 2006 Super Duty was a heavy duty pickup and chassis cab, built in Kentucky and Ohio. The Super Duty is a dedicated heavy duty variant of the F Series, sold above the F 150 with Power Stroke diesel engines as an option. Ford assembles the trucks at the Kentucky Truck Plant in Louisville and at Ohio Assembly in Avon Lake.
