The 1966 Ranchero was a one year model, when the Falcon and Fairlane were redeveloped on the same basic platform, which did not include the sedan delivery. It used Falcon front sheet metal, trim and interior accents on a modified station wagon platform, though Rancheros made late in the model year had the Fairlane front clip. It was marketed simply as the Ford Ranchero and carried no Falcon badges.
