1926 Ford Model T

Automobiles

The high hood style that gave the car its biggest change in appearance came in for 1926, and steel welded spoke wheels were offered from this year, in place of the standard wooden artillery wheels. The final style was a preview of the Model A that would follow, although the new car was much wider and had curved doors, whereas the Model T still had flat ones. Sales were slipping as rivals offered more comfort and styling at similar prices.
