1988 Ford Laser

Automobiles

In 1988 the KE range was made up of the L, GL, Ghia and TX3, the last also as a rare Turbo and a Turbo 4WD. The L was aimed at fleets and budget buyers, the GL was the best seller, and two limited editions called Redline and Livewire were introduced during the production run. The Laser was a Ford badged version of the Mazda Familia, and it was one of the smaller cars in the Ford range of that period. Buyers in Australia and New Zealand often did not realise the Ford was based on the Mazda 323.
