The third generation Ford Ka was introduced to the market in August 2014 in Brazil, at the 2014 Sao Paulo Motor Show, with the production version appearing in July 2014 in hatchback and sedan body styles. It adopts the Kinetic design and is slightly bigger than the previous model, with a five door body, plus a new four door sedan called the Ka+. In Brazil it was offered with a 1.0 litre three cylinder or a 1.5 litre four cylinder petrol engine.
