In November 2013 the Ford Ka Concept for the next generation was unveiled in Brazil, developed by Ford Brazil. The second generation Ka continued in 2013, the European version built by Fiat on the Fiat 500 architecture with revised shock absorption and a rear anti roll bar, and the Latin American version with a length of 3,836 millimetres competing in the subcompact class. The Latin American Ka was a separate model on the first generation chassis, designed and engineered in Brazil.
