A two door saloon joined the range in May 1973, which cut the German entry price of the car by 415 marks, though it was never produced or officially sold in Britain. The fastback coupe, the last model planned, had a scheduled introduction for May 1973, and its early sheet metal had a more pronounced coke bottle styling than the later version. The V4 and V6 engine range was joined by the in line Pinto unit the next year.
