In the 2017 update the Sport model returned, powered by a 2.7 liter turbocharged V6 with 325 horsepower, a black mesh grille, 19 inch wheels, a decklid spoiler, quad exhaust pipes and standard all wheel drive. The Platinum trim was added to the Fusion family for 2017, with a power moonroof, Nappa leather and heated and cooled front seats, and a Fusion Platinum Energi joined the plug in range. The Hybrid came in four trims.
