The B-Max of 2014 competed with the Fiat 500L, the Citroen C3 Picasso and the Nissan Note, as a small people carrier based on the Fiesta. The 1.6 litre Duratec engine could be fitted with the PowerShift six speed dual clutch automatic gearbox, and the 1.0 litre EcoBoost was the popular engine. The B-Max was a mini people carrier built on the same global B platform as the Ford Fiesta, and Ford sold it across Europe. It was a short lived model with a single generation and no facelift, in the segment below the C-Max.
