Changes to the base 1975 Monaco were minimal, but the Monaco Custom was renamed the Royal Monaco and the Brougham became the Royal Monaco Brougham, both with hidden headlamps. Some cars received catalytic converters to meet stricter emission rules depending on equipment and state. A limited Diplomat package added a landau vinyl roof with opera windows on Royal Monaco Brougham coupes. This was the last model year in which a four door hardtop was available.
