The Dodge Lancer was reintroduced in 1985 as a mid size five door hatchback, a rebadged version of the Chrysler LeBaron GTS on the Chrysler H platform, a stretched version of the K platform. It eventually slotted between the Aries and the 600 in the Dodge range, and all Lancers were built at Sterling Heights, Michigan. It was the third and last of the unrelated uses of the name described by the source.
