Dodge Lancer (1985 to 1989 hatchback)

Automobiles

The third Lancer was a mid size five door hatchback on the Chrysler H platform, a stretched K car platform, and a rebadged Chrysler LeBaron GTS that slotted between the Aries and the 600 and was built at Sterling Heights, Michigan. Shelby versions followed in 1987 and 1988, and the Spirit replaced it after production ended in April 1989. In April 1988 Chrysler began selling a rebadged Lancer ES in Europe as the Chrysler GTS. Its model years run from 1985 to 1989.
