BMW Z4

The Z4 is BMW's two seat roadster, introduced in 2002 as the successor to the Z3. The first generation, the E85 roadster and E86 coupe, was built in South Carolina, the second, the E89 of 2009 to 2016, brought a folding hard top and was built at Regensburg, and the third, the G29 of 2018, went back to a soft top and was built by Magna Steyr in Austria alongside the Toyota Supra. BMW ended Z4 production in March 2026. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 3 generations: the E85, E86 (2002 to 2008); the E89 (2009 to 2016); the G29 (2018 to 2026).
