The fourth generation Camaro was introduced in January 1993 on an updated F body platform and kept the traditional two doors, rear wheel drive, coupe or convertible bodies and a choice of six cylinder or V8 engines. It was revised in 1998 with a new front end and the LS1 V8, and General Motors ended production in 2002 at the Quebec plant, with no replacement for seven years. Its model years run from 1993 to 2002.
