The fourth generation Camaro was introduced in January 1993 as a 1993 model, and production moved from Van Nuys, California to Sainte Therese, Quebec, in November 1992. Every model had a red Chevrolet bowtie on the grille, and 1993 was the only year the interior instruments had yellow lettering. The Camaro Z/28 was the official pace car for the Indianapolis 500. The fourth generation kept the traits of the 1967 car, with two doors, coupe or convertible bodies, rear wheel drive and a choice of six cylinder and V8 engines.
