Cadillac Eldorado (tenth generation, 1979 to 1985)

Automobiles

The tenth generation Eldorado debuted in 1979, continuing to share the same platform with the Buick Riviera and the Oldsmobile Toronado. Independent rear suspension was adopted for the first time, helping retain rear seat and trunk room in the smaller body, and a notable styling element was its nearly vertical rear window. The model set an all time Eldorado sales record in 1984. Its model years run from 1979 to 1985.
