1984 Cadillac Eldorado

Automobiles

The model set an all time Eldorado sales record in 1984 of 77,806, counting coupes and convertibles, which accounted for about 26 percent of all Cadillacs sold. Cadillac reintroduced the Eldorado convertible for the 1984 model year, and several customers who had purchased 1976 Eldorado convertibles as investments felt they had been deceived and launched an unsuccessful class action. The 1984 car was a front wheel drive coupe on the E platform.
