1991 BMW 3 Series (E36)

Automobiles

The E36 reached customers in its first full year, built in the saloon and coupe bodies at Munich and Regensburg. Alpina began its E36 production in 1991 with the B6 2.8/2, which used an upgraded version of the M50 engine, the first of a line of Alpina cars built on the third generation 3 Series, all with the company's distinctive twenty spoke wheels. Car and Driver put it on its 10Best list this year, as it did for every year of production.
