The second RDX was shown at the Detroit show in January 2012 and went on sale in April 2012 as a 2013 model. The turbo four-cylinder gave way to a 3.5 litre V6 with cylinder management and a six-speed automatic, improving fuel economy, and the SH-AWD system was swapped for a simpler, cheaper all-wheel-drive. Pandora streaming, a rear view camera and push-button start were standard. A 2016 facelift added LED lighting, a more powerful V6 and AcuraWatch driver aids.
