The 2013 RDX went on sale in April 2012 with a 3.5 litre V6 and a six-speed automatic in place of the turbo four, using cylinder management to improve economy to 23 miles per gallon combined. A simpler all-wheel-drive system replaced SH-AWD. A 5-inch display, a rear-view camera, keyless entry with push-button start, Bluetooth and Pandora streaming were standard, and the Technology package added a power tailgate and a hard-drive navigation system.
