2004 Acura NSX

Automobiles

In 2004 the shift knob changed from leather-wrapped plastic to a weighted metal ball, a small change to the facelifted car. Production, which had been in the dedicated Takanezawa plant in Tochigi since 1989, moved to the Suzuka plant in early 2004 for the rest of the NSX's life. Outwardly the car matched the 2002 facelift in every other respect, and it also kept the fixed xenon headlamps and the 3.2 litre manual and 3.0 litre automatic powertrains.
