Late in 1988, for the 1989 model year, the Legend sedan received a facelift with one-piece front headlamps, a revised front bumper, a new trunk lid and tail lights, an upgraded double-wishbone rear suspension and a new alloy wheel design. By then all Legends had four-wheel anti-lock brakes and a driver's side airbag as standard equipment. Memory settings for the driver's seat were added, and the Acura Vigor joined the range beneath it.
