Wolseley 24/80

Automobiles

The 24/80 was an Australian Wolseley made by BMC Australia from May 1962 to October 1965, externally identical to the British 15/60 but with a six cylinder version of the B series engine, the 2,433 cubic centimeter Blue Streak straight six of 80 horsepower. It was an upmarket version of the Austin Freeway with different styling, meant to draw buyers from General Motors Holden, and the Mark II of 1964 copied the British 16/60. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 2 generations: the Mark I (1962 to 1964); the Mark II (1964 to 1965).
