The Victor was Vauxhall's large family car from 1957 until 1976, introduced to replace the Wyvern, renamed the VX Series until 1978 and replaced by the Carlton, a badge engineered Opel Rekord, in five series called F, FB, FC, FD and FE, briefly Britain's most exported car and sold in the United States by Pontiac dealers because Vauxhall had been part of General Motors since 1925. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 5 generations: the F series, 1957 to 1960 (1957 to 1960); the FB series, 1960 to 1964 (1960 to 1964); the FC series, 1964 to 1967 (1964 to 1967); the FD series, 1967 to 1972 (1967 to 1972); the FE series, 1972 to 1976 (1972 to 1976).
