The Renown is the large saloon car of Triumph between 1949 and 1954, in truth one of a three car series with the 1800 and the 2000. Together with the Triumph Roadster they were the first vehicles to carry the Triumph badge following the company's takeover by the Standard Motor Company. They were distinctively styled in the Razor Edge coachwork vogue, with bodies built by Mulliners of Birmingham, mostly in aluminium. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 2 generations: the 1800 and 2000 TDA (1946 to 1949); the Renown (1949 to 1954).
