In 1951 a limousine version of the Renown was announced, with an extra 3 inches in the wheelbase. The Triumph Renown Limousine was built from 1951 to 1954. The Renown of 1951 was a large saloon made by the Triumph Motor Company, with bodywork by Mulliners of Birmingham, at the Mark I TDB stage before the Mark II TDC followed in 1952. The limousine was a longer car. It was built beside the saloon. A longer wheelbase was fitted.
